00-Up Toyota Celica 22400 Street Sway Bar Set

INSTALLATION OF HOTCHKIS FRONT SWAY BAR
1) Securely block the rear wheels of the vehicle. Use a jack to lift up the front of the vehicle and use jack stands to support it. Do not remove the front wheels during installation for safety.
2) Use a 14mm wrench and 6mm Allen wrench to remove the nuts holding the end links to the ends of the stock sway bar. Remove the end links from the ends of the sway bar. Retain the hard ware for later use.
3) Use a 19mm Wrench or socket to remove the four bolts mounting the cradle to the sub frame. Retain the bolts for later re-installation.
4) Use a 14mm socket or wrench to remove the two nuts and three bolts holding the lower engine mount to the cradle. Retain the hardware for later re-installation.

INSTALLATION OF HOTCHKIS REAR CAMBER LINKS
1) Securely block the front wheels of the vehicle. Use a jack to raise the rear end of the vehicle and support with jack stands. Remove the rear wheels.
2) Use a 14mm wrench and a 5mm Allen wrench to loosen and remove the nut on both end links where they meet the rear spindle assemblies. Use a 17mm wrench or socket to remove the bolt and nut holding the rear upper link to the spindle. Retain all stock hardware.
3) Use a 19mm and 17mm socket or wrench to remove the upper camber link bolt where it mounts to the sub-frame. Remove the stock suspension link and retain the stock hardware for later use.

Air Intake System Installation for Toyota Celica GT:
Note: Disconnect the negative battery terminal before starting this installation.
1. Remove the OBD canister, vacuum switching valve and air temperature control sensor from the air box without removing any vacuum lines. Once all sensors have been removed take out the remaining air box and air duct leading to the throttle body. Remove the two-piece air duct leading into the black ECU box. We recommend you remove the front bumper to make the installation easier. The vacuum switching valve used to control the valves or by-pass flaps in the box will no longer be used. These flaps control the amount of air taken in when the engine is running. A 3mm cap will cap-off the port at the engine block.

Step 1 Jack up car
Apply parking brake and properly block rear wheels. Break loose the lug nuts on both front wheels with a 21mm socket before jacking up the car. Make sure the jack and stand are supporting the frame rail portion of the body pan, not the flat floor pan
Step 2 Remove inboard brake line
View of the stock left front brake assembly after wheel has been removed. Loosen the brake line fitting nut at the flex line using an 11mm wrench. A flare fitting wrench is preferable if available. Using a pair of needle nose pliers, remove the stock clip from the hard line. Set clip aside, it will be used later when the new stainless steel lines are installed. Remove flex line fitting from standoff bracket and plug the hard line with one of the rubber plugs provided with the stainless steel line kit. This should effectively prevent fluid loss for the course of the installation.

Cause The most likely cause of this condition may be a loss of voltage to the transmission on circuit 1020. This loss of power may be caused by an open in the ignition switch. This condition may also be the resuit of an incorrect installation of an aftermarket electronic device such as a remote starter or alarm system.

BEGIN INSTALLATION:
1. Make sure to park the vehicle on a level concrete surface. Many times a vehicle is un-level from
side-to-side (even when brand new), but usually not noticed until modifying the suspension with a
lift kit which makes it more noticeable. If the vehicle is un-level beforehand it will also after the lift
is installed. Using a measuring tape, measure the front and rear (both sides) from the ground up
to the center of the fender opening above each axle. Record below for future reference.
