STEP 1. Begin by removing the trim panel that surrounds the climate control and runs horizontally across the entire length of the dash. Grasp the right edge of the panel near the passenger door and pull outward, releasing a retainer clip. Work your hands to the left, continuing to pull outward on the panel until all clips are released. There are seven (7) clips on top and two (2) clips below the climate control.

Ford Crown Victoria Model 501940 Rear Deck Solaris Internal Light Package Instructions

The Model 501940 is available in either a four or two module LED flashing lighting system for the rear deck of the Ford Crown Victoria. The Solaris LEDs are housed in polyparabolic reflector modules for maximum light output. Flashing heads are controlled by the internal 2-channel flasher. The base is stamped, cold-rolled steel and the shroud is stamped aluminum. The unit is supplied with mounting hardware and an eighteen-foot cable. It has an operating temperature range of -40°C to +65°C. UNPACKING. After unpacking the kit, inspect it for damage that may have occurred in transit. If the unit has been damaged, do not attempt to install or operate it. File a claim immediately with the carrier, stating the extent of damage. PROCEDURES: Two shields were installed on the aft side of the left and right sides of the rear axle. The shields were secured in place with hose clamps and plastic tie straps. Two bolts, securing the carbon canister to a mounting bracket on the underside of the trunk, were removed and replaced with three rivets. A rubber semi-circular pad was bonded with adhesive on the lower portion of the rear surface of the differential. Two rubber pads were bonded with adhesive to the lower surface of the tank between the tank and each tank strap, and the straps were replaced.
