Part of what makes Photoshop such an incredibly powerful and pleasurable program to use is its well-thought out implementation: the interface is polished and uncluttered and easily customizable (despite its vast arsenal of tools and commands). In fact, there is a surprising amount of “hidden” functionality within Photoshop; so much so, that despite the number of years you work with the program, you will undoubtedly keep discovering more and more about it. I doubt anyone could claim that they know “everything” about Photoshop (except maybe Adobe’s software engineers ;-).

This guide assumes that you have already installed your 3ware RAID controller in your system. If you have not yet done so, see the installation guide that came with your 3ware RAID controller for instructions. AMCC makes a number of 3ware controller models, including 9000-series (9690SA, 9650SE, 9590SE, 9550SX, and 9500S), and earlier 7000/8000 series boards. The Command Syntax described in this document supports all of those boards, although not all commands are supported on every controller. When a command is not supported for all controllers, the specific model numbers that it applies to are indicated with the command.

NetSync Manual
“NetSync” is a file replicator that achieves efficient, adaptive, and fault-tolerant file replication to many nodes. Grid applications often need to replicate files to many nodes as a first step for computing. Replication from only one node to many nodes is clearly inefficient. Since accesses are congested to the one node and bandwidth or so are not utilized efficiently. Besides, Grid environments often consist of several subnets so that many inter-subnet connections for replication are inefficient, because they have narrower bandwidth and larger response time than intra-subnet connections and often cause bottleneck. In a typical network, nodes where NetSync are running construct an efficient transfer tree adaptively. [3] It includes fewer inter-subnet transfer connections and transfer connections at every node than most possible transfer trees.
