Toyota Celica GT-S Front Big Brake Upgrade

Step 1 Jack up car
Apply parking brake and properly block rear wheels. Break loose the lug nuts on both front wheels with a 21mm socket before jacking up the car. Make sure the jack and stand are supporting the frame rail portion of the body pan, not the flat floor pan
Step 2 Remove inboard brake line
View of the stock left front brake assembly after wheel has been removed. Loosen the brake line fitting nut at the flex line using an 11mm wrench. A flare fitting wrench is preferable if available. Using a pair of needle nose pliers, remove the stock clip from the hard line. Set clip aside, it will be used later when the new stainless steel lines are installed. Remove flex line fitting from standoff bracket and plug the hard line with one of the rubber plugs provided with the stainless steel line kit. This should effectively prevent fluid loss for the course of the installation.

2009 Volkswagen New Beetle Convertible

Did you know that Volkswagen has ESP® standard on all 2009 vehicles? Or that we provide a Carefree Maintenance™ Program* on all our 2009 cars? Or that we expect to be the first to make clean diesel available in all 50 states? Or that when people in Europe buy a car, they most often buy Volkswagen?** How about that right now, the VW forest is growing in Mississippi thanks to the Volkswagen Carbon Neutral Project—the first U.S. carbon offsetting program initiated by a car manufacturer? There may be a lot you don’t know about Volkswagen. In the pages to come, get to know the most iconic and fun-loving members of the Volkswagen family—The Volkswagen New Beetle and New Beetle Convertible.
An icon then and now.
No vehicle is more iconic or enduring than the Volkswagen Beetle. First brought to the people back in 1938, ‘the little car that could’ soon motored all over the world and became the longest-running and most-produced automobile of a single design. In America, the Beetle did everything from winning the Baja 500, to winning the hearts of Americans in every walk of life. This journey is far from over, as the New Beetle brings the fun and fashion of an iconic shape and combines it with the latest in German-tuned engineering and European styling. So hop in, buckle up and take off. The world is waiting.
The people want to make getting there more than half the fun.
Fun to look at. Even more fun to drive. That’s the best way to describe the New Beetle. A German-engineered 2.5L, 5-cylinder DOHC gasoline engine delivers 150hp, 170 lbs-ft. of torque and unlimited good times when you hit the pedal. It also delivers 20 city/29 highway mpg (20 city/28 highway mpg for Convertible).* In addition, the vehicle has a partial-zero emissions certification. Paired up with this unbeatable engine is our beloved Tiptronic® automatic transmission. It’s an automatic that you can drive like a sporty manual. Pair that pairing with the standard Electronic Stabilization Program (ESP), and your new best friend zigs, zags and puts a smile on your face. And speaking of fun, don’t even get us started on the New Beetle Convertible. It’s iconic. It’s a ragtop. It’s ridiculously fun.

BMW E34 Touring Rear Wire Harness Repair Layout

The repair wiring harnesses for BMW E34 touring models are universal for ALL applications (Europe, Japan, US, etc). The high mount stop light wires (two wires in one sheath), and window defroster wires (two wires in one sheath), connect directly to plug ends behind the grommets where the harnesses enter the D pillar. If you observe how things are assembled as you are taking the old wiring out, you will see how they should go back together. At the other end of the respective wiring, the high mount stop light has two spade ends that connect to the back of the stop light, while the defroster wiring needs to be spliced in to the leads coming off the grid on the rear window. Cut the existing ones 4 or 5 inches from where they are attached to the window and solder and shrink wrap the new ends to them.

Using Photoshop’s Layer Mask to Replace a Blah Sky

We will use a photograph of a covered bridge taken on a cloudy day in Vermont to show how a Layer Mask can be used to replace the sky.

In Photoshop you can replace a sky by a few different methods. One way is to select the sky with the Magic Wand with the Contiguous box not checked and adding to the selection until you get the entire sky. You would then use the Polygon Lasso tool to subtract the roof of the bridge. You next open the sky image and Select it all and then copy the selected image to the clipboard. Go back to the bridge image and from the Edit menu, select Paste Into. The sky will now appear in the sky selection. You will notice that the pasted image “marching ants” will still appear, allowing you to move the sky around so you get the best part to show in the selection. Once you deselect the sky now becomes a part of the image. You will probably notice some small white halo around the horizon and the only way to remove this is by using the Clone Stamp Tool.

Horizon2- 2300/2400 Series Electronic Service Manual

110– 230 Volts A.C. 50 or 60 cycle power comes into the dispenser through field wiring to the bottom of the Power Distribution Board terminal strip (TS1) 1. This voltage passes thru a double pole double throw power switch SW2. This switch is provided for the technician to turn power off to the dispenser at the dispenser for service. Power then passes through a 3 amp fuse and then is filtered for noise. Any electrical noise is dampened out by this filter FIL1. The power is then passed from the Power Distribution Board to the Power Supply (through connector J5) for Direct Current (D.C.) conversion. There is only one Power Distribution Board and one Power Supply for the dispenser.
