iColor Output Software

iColor Output is a PDF- and print processor for Mac OS X. It turns a standard inkjet printer into a full-featured contract proofer and it is easy to use. Just start the application, make your selections for paper and workflow and you are ready to go.

Installation
After insertion of the DVD or opening the downloaded image-file, the installation dialogue appears.
Notice: Please make sure that the original driver of your printer has been already installed. Without an installed driver, iColor Output does not work.

For the Canon Pixma Pro 9000 and 9500, please make use of the driver that is supplied on Quato´s web page or the DVD. The recent driver on Canon´s web page does not support color management. The driver that HP supplies for the PhotoSmart B9180 and B8850 prevents the EyeOne Spectrophotometer from working properly. The best choise is the HP Printer Driver 1.1, supplied by Apple that works will with EyeOne devices.

To install iColor Output, double click on the iColor Output symbol and follow the instructions. If you disagree with the License Agreement, iColor Output will not be installed. If you accept the License Agreement, iColor Output will ask for the administrator password. Afterwards the installation proceeds. Quit the installation by clicking the „done“ button. iColor will start automatically and display the control panel.
