Nokia E51 and E66 smartphones are reported to have received new firmware updates meant to offer them added stability. According to the news, the firmware for Nokia E51 has been updated from v220.34.37 to v300.34.56, while the E66 has seen an upgrade to v200. There is no changelog available for the new firmware updates, so it’s unclear at this moment what novelties the software brings along. According to some voices over the Web, the new firmware updates might be aiming at resolving the Curse of Silence exploit. From what we’ve seen while browsing through the news sites and the forums, Nokia has recently released a series of updates for some devices than haven’t seen new software for quite a long time, which could suggest that the company is planning to fix the exploit issue.
